Rumer Wilson married the love of her life ten years ago, has two beautiful children, and what she believes is a wonderful life to prove it. But, does anybody ever control love? Her world spirals into an unfamiliar place of uncertainty for everything she holds dear, when her husband falls in love with a woman hiding secrets.

Sebastian Ortiz has loved many women. Rumer is a means to an end. He doesn’t want to hurt her, but he needs her – for revenge on the man who hurt his sister – the sister he’s protected from harm his whole life.

Neither Rumer or Sebastian could imagine what comes next

Except of Rumer

Darling Crawford lost the man she loved to another woman. Returning to her parents was bad enough, but returning broke, divorced, and jobless is awful. Right about now she just needs to have fun.

A man with a sexy southern drawl. A strong drink. A night of dancing. What happens on Beale Street stays on Beale Street, right?

Except of Beale Street Blues

I met Angela Kay Austin at my very first IRAE. I didn’t know what to think of her books. I mean I do read Women’s Fiction but I had my doubts. This year I wanted to try something new. I wanted to start reading outside my comfort zone. I was iffy and hesitant to start reading Beale Street Blues. I fought all the way but in the end I’m glad that I fell deeply in love with Beale Street Blues and Rumer.

Beale Street Blues and Rumer are not books to rush through because you will miss something important. My recommendation is buy the paperbacks copy and sit by the pool. Or hide in your closet where your kids and partner can’t see you these books are meant to be savored. They are meant to enjoyed. They speak to that woman that feels defeated, feels like a failure ,and reminds her that you will survive this and tough times and starting over is a part of life.

Please pick up a copy and read these books slowly. You will fall in love with Angela Kay Austin .

Angela Kay Austin has always loved expressing herself creatively. An infatuation with music led to years playing several instruments, some better than others. A love for acting put her in front of a camera or two for her thirty seconds on camera before giving way to a degree and career in communications. After completing a second degree in marketing, Angela found herself combining her love for all things creative and worked in promotions and events for many years.

Today, Angela lives in her hometown in Tennessee with her really really really old dog, Midnight.

Beaumont Guthry, in his short time in the sport, prepares to step out of the shadow as a backup quarterback and into the spotlight as he takes over the Chicago Grizzlies. The team may be desperate for a quarterback, but Beau fears his style might get him benched before the first pass is in the air. For Beau, it will be the first time his father’s money won’t help to smooth over any missteps he makes.

The thirst for knowledge is what has kept Esme Carmichael in college for the last eight years. When her parents draw a line in the sand, forcing her to pick a degree and graduate, Esme realizes her biggest worry in the last decade has been could she swing more than two hours sleep a night.

Esme, instead of the four walls and security of a classroom, is faced with the future, one which petrifies her.

Meeting Beau seemed to be the perfect distraction she needed. What she didn’t count on was his past derailing their chance for a relationship—a relationship, she nor he signed up for. It was supposed to be a simple deal—sex—no strings, no complications.

 #Start the series #today

In book one of Love by the Yard: In Chicago they say Speed Kills, or at least they have for the last seven years since the handsome running back, Jerome Speed, led the Chicago Grizzlies to divisional and conference championships.

Danika Albright’s privileged upbringing has most people believing she wants for nothing. As the daughter of a self-made billionaire she shouldn’t, but her father never wanted his children to be spoiled and demanded they make their own way with little to no help from him. While working her way through school as a stylist, she crosses paths with a local football star with his own issues.

The pair work to keep their desires from molding their relationship, but when a paternity case tackles the star and the woman wants more than money, the relationship takes a hit.

Can Danika and Jerome look past what they know and take the time to discover what really happens when you fall in love with a person—one who wants you and not just your name?

Two people—two different backgrounds—one goal—to learn to love one yard at a time.

In book two of Love by the Yard: Offensive linemen are considered the silent protectors of the game. Always expected to be there, but never seen by the fans. Whether by accident or circumstance, Dalton Gresham has been known as the Blood Thirsty Bear of the Gridiron since his rookie year. With fans wearing number seventy-seven with fake blood dripped on it, can this giant in football shake his monster status?

Having hidden away at Lost Lake, Wisconsin, the last thing Willeen Fire needed was publicity. The tall, voluptuous woman has a beauty she hides behind flannel shirts and engine grease while staying off the grid. When Dalton first meets Willeen, the last thing he thought was she was a woman in need of protection. But as he falls for her, the natural instinct to protect is screaming in his ears.

Can Dalton stop being the monster he’s been labeled and become the one who will finally save Willeen from the man hunting her?

In book three of Love by the Yard: Ten years ago, Coach Xavier Jackson was poised to complete a lifelong journey. When he wasn’t picked up after the seventh round of the draft was over, he was left to wonder if his dreams of playing professional football were finally over. Instead, with a chance as a free agent he made good on his, but the lure of off-field activities led the tight end to make the worst decision of his life.

Chelsea Monroe was engaged to the best football player their little college had ever seen. She’d become part of his family, tasked with keeping his baby sister, Leeda, safe when he had to go away. But a visit between training put an end to everything, leaving her shattered and unwilling to give herself to anyone ever again.

Though a decade of focus on her career made her a sought after litigator, it kept her from making any personal connections. Chelsea decides to take a trip to Jamaica before her fresh start in Chicago, but instead of it being a break, it turns into a second chance.

Leeda Jackson has plans for her brother and the woman that should have been her sister.

Five weeks ago Carly Drake stood at her grandfather’s grave. Now she’s burying Drake Trucking’s top driver, and the cops have no leads on the hijacking or murder. Faced with bankruptcy, phone threats and the fear of failure, Carly has to team up with the last man she wants to owe—Lincoln Cain.

Cain is magnetic, powerful, controlling—and hiding more than one secret. He promised Carly’s granddad he’d protect her. The old man took a chance on him when he was nothing but a kid with a record, and now he’s the multi-millionaire owner of a rival firm.

But Linc’s money can’t protect Carly from the men who’ll do anything to shut her down, or the secrets behind Drake Trucking. If she won’t sell out, the only way to keep her safe is to keep her close . . . and fight like hell.

Some bad girls need a firm hand to keep them in line.

I’m bad enough to need two.

Two older men who can teach me a lesson when I misbehave.

Two hot bodies to keep me warm in bed at night.

Two best friends who can learn to share a filthy-mouthed little brat like me.

After all… dirty girls need very dirty daddies.

***

Carrie Wells is nothing but trouble.

She’s wild and difficult. Not worth anyone’s time.

Carrie Wells is a beautiful little brat. She’s also a vulnerable young adult on my case list.

She’s half my age and totally off limits. I’m breaking every rule in the book by giving her somewhere to stay when she’s out on the streets with nowhere to go. And I’m breaking every rule of friendship by holing her up in my best friend Jack’s house while he’s away on business.

I thought life was difficult enough when I fell for the girl, but it gets a whole lot harder when Jack comes home early and finds a beautiful stranger causing chaos in his house.

And a whole lot harder still when he falls for her too.

He’s the one guy on this planet I’d share my last supper with. I’d share it gladly.

I’m just not so sure how I feel about sharing Carrie Wells.

Happily ever after is a second chance away.

Country singer Evie Rutherford is poised on the brink of stardom. But before all eyes are on her, Evie must return home to confess a huge secret – she has a young daughter she never told anyone about.

Five years ago, Judah Bentley lost the love of his life when she abruptly left town. No woman since then has compared to Evie. To drive her memory from his system, he focused on building a business empire. But now Evie’s back, and she instantly reclaims center stage in his heart and mind.

Evie’s attraction to Judah is even more powerful than when she was a teenager, which only makes confessing the truth of his fatherhood harder. She’s paralyzed with fear, and time is running out.

Can Judah and Evie overcome the past to forge a future as a family?

A second-chances romance with a touch of steam, this is a standalone novel with HEA.
