Rumer Wilson married the love of her life ten years ago, has two beautiful children, and what she believes is a wonderful life to prove it. But, does anybody ever control love? Her world spirals into an unfamiliar place of uncertainty for everything she holds dear, when her husband falls in love with a woman hiding secrets.

Sebastian Ortiz has loved many women. Rumer is a means to an end. He doesn’t want to hurt her, but he needs her – for revenge on the man who hurt his sister – the sister he’s protected from harm his whole life.

Neither Rumer or Sebastian could imagine what comes next

Except of Rumer

Darling Crawford lost the man she loved to another woman. Returning to her parents was bad enough, but returning broke, divorced, and jobless is awful. Right about now she just needs to have fun.

A man with a sexy southern drawl. A strong drink. A night of dancing. What happens on Beale Street stays on Beale Street, right?

Except of Beale Street Blues

I met Angela Kay Austin at my very first IRAE. I didn’t know what to think of her books. I mean I do read Women’s Fiction but I had my doubts. This year I wanted to try something new. I wanted to start reading outside my comfort zone. I was iffy and hesitant to start reading Beale Street Blues. I fought all the way but in the end I’m glad that I fell deeply in love with Beale Street Blues and Rumer.

Beale Street Blues and Rumer are not books to rush through because you will miss something important. My recommendation is buy the paperbacks copy and sit by the pool. Or hide in your closet where your kids and partner can’t see you these books are meant to be savored. They are meant to enjoyed. They speak to that woman that feels defeated, feels like a failure ,and reminds her that you will survive this and tough times and starting over is a part of life.

Please pick up a copy and read these books slowly. You will fall in love with Angela Kay Austin .

Angela Kay Austin has always loved expressing herself creatively. An infatuation with music led to years playing several instruments, some better than others. A love for acting put her in front of a camera or two for her thirty seconds on camera before giving way to a degree and career in communications. After completing a second degree in marketing, Angela found herself combining her love for all things creative and worked in promotions and events for many years.

Today, Angela lives in her hometown in Tennessee with her really really really old dog, Midnight.
